Base Salary
$159k - $351k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of end-to-end data platform and data quality roadmap for ML efforts.
- Consolidate and optimize core data logging, processing, and ML model training pipelines.
- Develop and scale data infrastructure for batch and real-time data processing.
- Design and implement scalable ML-based ranking systems and online inference services.
- Build partnerships with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers to meet offline and online needs.
- Research and select technical approaches for complex development problems and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance complexity.
- Experience with Big Data tools and ETL frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Airflow.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as Tensorflow and Pytorch.
- Proven experience in deploying scalable data pipelines processing petabytes of data.
- Experience managing high-throughput and low-latency services.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS and GCP.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with machine learning platforms for search and discovery is a plus.
