Responsibilities
- Work with US headquarters teams to develop products and systems for Japanese customers.
- Design, build, monitor, and optimize robotics solutions and systems for operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Guide system architecture improvements and advise on production-system reliability and optimization.
- Explain Dexterity’s system architecture and subsystem dependencies to partners and customers.
- Support robotics application commissioning, deployment, and operations using the Linux command line.
- Evaluate customer feature requests and support prioritization based on business impact.
- Support root cause analysis and debugging for deployed systems.
- Analyze and optimize the speed, quality, and autonomy of control, vision, and data software running on robots.
- Support product definition and resolve architecture and technical issues during early project stages.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in robotics systems engineering across control, vision, and data software.
- Ability to understand system architecture, subsystem components, and dependencies.
- Ability to work with Linux command-line tools for system commissioning and deployment.
- Ability to coordinate complex technical projects involving customers, system integrators, and distributed engineering teams.
- Ability to perform debugging, root cause analysis, performance analysis, and system optimization.
