Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of business applications under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Implement features, fix bugs, and test software solutions.
  • Contribute to backend and frontend development according to project needs.
  • Apply clean-code and code-quality practices and participate in code reviews.
  • Take part in knowledge-sharing sessions and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with an international team and communicate in English daily.
  • Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with modern development trends.

Requirements

  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Education or strong interest in finance, particularly payments.
  • Basic knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Python, SQL, Angular, and React.
  • Initial software development experience through university projects, internships, bootcamps, personal projects, nonprofit work, or commercial experience.
  • Analytical, curious, and problem-solving approach with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • German language knowledge, cloud-platform familiarity, Agile/Scrum knowledge, and a software portfolio are nice to have.
