Responsibilities
- Configure standardized software components to meet customer requirements.
- Develop modular customer-specific components and plugins.
- Build integrations with ERP systems, PLCs, robots, and external systems using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, and other industrial protocols.
- Collaborate on testing, debugging, and continuous code improvement with the development team.
- Execute technical system integrations at customer sites and prepare technical documentation and integration diagrams.
- Conduct FAT/SAT testing and oversee on-site acceptance procedures.
- Coordinate technical activities with internal teams, customer IT departments, and external partners.
- Set up and commission systems on location and resolve software and integration issues.
- Train key users and provide hands-on technical support during system startup.
- Perform functional analyses and advise customers on scalability, integration approaches, and technical optimization.
- Provide field feedback to support product development and improvement.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Programming, or a related field.
- Proficiency in software development with Python.
- Experience with logistics is a strong advantage.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Docker is preferred.
- Familiarity with REST, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is a strong plus.
- Experience with .NET Core is a bonus, particularly with C#, Entity Framework, Web API, REST, and SignalR.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Willingness to undertake very frequent international travel to client sites.
