Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with client business, IT, architecture, security, data, and operations teams.
- Translate business objectives and workflows into technical requirements, architecture designs, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Design, build, configure, and deploy production-quality integrations using APIs, webhooks, event-driven architectures, secure file exchanges, connector frameworks, and enterprise integration platforms.
- Contribute hands-on code across backend services, integration components, data pipelines, AI workflows, and supporting user experiences.
- Design and implement AI workflows using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and human approval checkpoints.
- Build and maintain connectors and data pipelines for enterprise platforms, reporting, analytics, and AI workflows.
- Implement authentication, authorization, identity federation, secrets management, data mapping, validation, error handling, observability, and audit requirements.
- Develop cloud-native, containerized solutions and automated deployment processes using Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support monitoring, logging, alerting, production troubleshooting, performance optimization, incident resolution, and the transition from prototypes to stable production deployments.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and communicate complex AI, data, platform, and integration concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 9 years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, technical consulting, platform implementation, or related engineering roles.
- At least 5 years designing and deploying production cloud-based AI, data, or enterprise application solutions.
- Advanced Python programming skills plus at least one additional modern language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java, or .NET.
- Significant experience with APIs, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, enterprise integrations, authentication and security frameworks, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, agent orchestration, AI evaluations, observability, and guardrails.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, containers, and cloud-native development practices.
- Strong communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
