Responsibilities
- Engage senior stakeholders across technology, business lines, and AI leadership to drive strategic AI platform solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for the architecture and design of the Group AI platform.
- Develop logical and technical AI platform reference architectures covering data, models, compute, tooling, orchestration, and governance.
- Design integrations connecting AI capabilities with data, applications, APIs, cloud systems, and telemetry.
- Define hybrid-cloud and on-premises platform infrastructure blueprints covering compute, storage, networking, security, and access.
- Own roadmaps for centrally engineered AI capabilities and core AI tooling, and deliver reusable high-value AI architectures.
- Evaluate AI product vendors through reviews and proof-of-concept activities.
- Provide thought leadership and technical guidance on AI/GenAI while supporting secure, ethical, responsible, and compliant adoption.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI architectures, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Extensive hands-on engineering experience designing and delivering AI/GenAI solutions to production.
- Strong experience designing scalable and resilient AI platforms, including model lifecycle, tools, controls, and AI capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience in senior architecture roles within large, complex, internationally regulated organizations.
- Ability to learn rapidly in the evolving AI domain and translate industry trends into practical guidance, designs, and patterns.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, model risk, legal, compliance, and control requirements applicable to AI in financial services.
- Ability to operate effectively across a global, matrixed organization and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
