Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve platform architecture strategy, technical governance, blueprints, modernization strategies, and roadmaps for Custody, Wealth, and Asset Management platforms.
- Translate business priorities and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, high-performing architectures.
- Partner with business, product, engineering, operations, data, and other stakeholders to improve platform design, data flow, interoperability, and operational efficiency.
- Guide hands-on delivery through prototyping, design validation, code reviews, technical troubleshooting, and implementation decisions.
- Architect cloud-native applications, containerized platforms, infrastructure automation, distributed systems, API-first integrations, event-driven architectures, and scalable batch and real-time processing.
- Design data models, integration and transformation pipelines, metadata and lineage strategies, data quality and governance capabilities, and analytics-ready platforms.
- Identify and shape governed AI and GenAI use cases such as knowledge retrieval, intelligent workflows, summarization, classification, and productivity improvements.
- Mentor engineers and junior architects and communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred but not required.
- Significant experience in platform and solution architecture, distributed systems design, and engineering within financial services or similarly complex regulated industries.
- Demonstrated delivery experience in Custody, Wealth, and/or Asset Management and a track record leading architecture for complex enterprise platforms and transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure and/or AWS, including compute, storage, networking, managed services, cloud-native application design, Kubernetes or container platforms, infrastructure as code, deployment automation, and security or identity integration.
- Experience designing and delivering microservices, event-driven systems, API-first platforms, highly available and resilient architectures, scalable batch and real-time processing solutions, and integration or modernization approaches.
- Strong data architecture and engineering background covering data modeling, integration and transformation pipelines, metadata and lineage, data quality, and governance.
- Practical exposure to AI and GenAI, including enterprise workflow integration, retrieval-augmented generation, LLM-enabled search, summarization, classification, responsible AI, and model governance across structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to mentor engineers and junior architects, communicate architecture decisions clearly, and influence strategic technology decisions through technical expertise and delivery focus.
