Base Salary

$131k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software modules integrating facial recognition, fingerprint, and iris-scanning technologies with existing applications using SDKs and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain APIs that enable third-party applications to interact with biometric systems.
  • Contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performance biometric integration architecture.
  • Develop data-processing pipelines for biometric data capture, storage, and transmission.
  • Support software programming initiatives using Java and JavaScript.
  • Create technical documentation covering integration processes, API usage, and system configurations.
  • Troubleshoot biometric integration, software compatibility, and data-quality issues.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of facial recognition, fingerprint, and iris-scanning modalities, including their strengths, limitations, and accuracy factors.
  • Experience integrating third-party biometric APIs and SDKs for data capture and processing.
  • Understanding of security protocols and best practices for sensitive biometric data.
  • Familiarity with database technologies for storing and managing biometric data.
  • Expertise with Java, Spring, and C2S, plus experience with software development lifecycle and DevOps toolsets and practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 or more years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 10 or more years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
  • Preferred experience with structured analysis and design methodologies and biometric-based identity management solutions.
