Base Salary
$171k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain secure Docker images focused on Java applications.
- Debug, tune, and secure Java applications in development and production environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and IaC configurations for Kubernetes deployments.
- Configure, run, and debug Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform advanced networking configuration and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
- Integrate secure deployment practices with developers and infrastructure teams.
- Contribute to vulnerability detection in container images and Java application dependencies.
- Implement consistent security controls and monitoring across the Fivetran platform.
- Stay updated on container security and Kubernetes advancements.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Docker image creation and optimization for Java applications.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud services and security models.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Senior-level experience with Java codebases and secure application environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and firewall configurations.
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with CI/CD security tooling and infrastructure compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
