Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, extend, and scale backend systems supporting real-time labor optimization and insights.
- Design decoupled services and robust enterprise interfaces using TypeScript and NestJS or other Node.js frameworks.
- Design PostgreSQL schemas, optimize queries, manage migrations, and handle concurrency in large-scale environments.
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI research teams to deliver customer-facing experiences.
- Work across core engineering, AI, and platform teams to launch and improve production systems.
- Contribute to advanced capabilities such as conflict resolution in collaborative systems, graph processing, feature stores, or real-time coordination tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience working with production systems.
- Fluency in TypeScript and NestJS or other Node.js frameworks.
- Strong PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, query optimization, migration management, and concurrency in large-scale environments.
- Ability to design scalable systems, drive solutions through ambiguity, and work autonomously in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and a focus on business outcomes.
- GraphQL experience is a major plus.
- Hands-on experience with conflict resolution in collaborative systems, graph processing, feature stores, or real-time coordination tools is a bonus.
