Responsibilities
- Design scalable and maintainable Selenium-based automation frameworks and reusable test assets.
- Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and smoke test suites.
- Monitor automated test runs, investigate failures and flaky tests, and provide clear defect reports.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, quality engineers, stakeholders, and domain experts to refine acceptance criteria and quality gates.
- Optimize test execution, test data management, and automation feedback cycles.
- Configure and validate test environments and conduct root cause analysis of defects and quality gaps.
- Document automation frameworks, test strategies, and execution guidelines.
- Evaluate and integrate improvements in Selenium automation tools, techniques, and practices.
- Define and track quality metrics such as defect escape rate and automation coverage.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other quality engineers.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and Advanced Java is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with web service automation using Katalon Studio, Java, REST Assured, and Spring Boot is required.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium-based automation, including framework design, script development, and maintenance.
- Experience creating and running API test automation scripts is required.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and test data management practices.
- Experience with GitHub for code management and CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processes.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable automation code and debug automation failures.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks is preferred.
- Travel, hospitality, airline, or related domain experience is preferred.
