Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global product programmers and R&D therapeutic-area teams to align with corporate and therapeutic-area standards.
- Critically review study documents, including Case Report Forms, SAPs, templates, validation plans, quality documentation, and dataset specifications.
- Plan, lead, perform, and review statistical programming deliverables, including SDTM and ADaM databases and TFLs.
- Program and validate deliverables for ad hoc analyses, site inspections, and regulatory queries.
- Review database structures, values, algorithms, specifications, documentation, and adherence to analysis and data standards.
- Communicate technical requirements to biometrics vendors and collaborate with cross-functional study teams.
- Contribute to regulatory submission packages, operational and data risk management, and process improvement.
- Mentor, coach, and support the training of junior staff.
Requirements
- Advanced SAS programming knowledge.
- Two or 5+ years of working experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- BSc or higher degree in mathematical, statistical, computer science, or life science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient knowledge of CDISC standards and industry best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of database setup, report publishing, and technical and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and drug indications within a therapeutic area.
- Ability to lead projects independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and optimize support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships within teams.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as R, S-PLUS, Python, or XML is preferred.
