Responsibilities
- Support strategic customer conversations with technical and engineering leaders.
- Deliver insights on emerging trends and identity-driven digital transformation.
- Prepare executive-level messaging and participate in strategic discussions.
- Lead technical Q&A discovery sessions to uncover customer business requirements.
- Deliver interactive presentations and custom product demonstrations.
- Whiteboard solution architecture to support business requirements.
- Design and execute outcome-focused proof of concepts (POCs).
- Maintain a deep technical understanding of Okta's identity product lines.
- Craft engaging solution content for various business units.
- Provide strategic guidance to Solutions Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the Global Office of Field CTO to validate customer needs.
- Deliver impactful presentations at industry and customer events.
- Contribute to frameworks and tools for Solutions Engineering teams.
- Partner with sales leadership to address business opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration for global initiatives.
- Represent Okta as a thought leader in the identity and security space.
- Influence industry standards and participate in technical advisory boards.
- Support strategic initiatives that enhance Okta's differentiation.
Requirements
- Expert-level understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Proficiency in managing diverse Identity Providers like Okta and Ping Identity.
- Experience with identity synchronization between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Ability to demonstrate lateral movement techniques used by attackers.
- Familiarity with identity threat detection and response tools.
- Understanding of Privileged Access Management principles.
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer meetings and events.
- Experience with Okta ISPM solution is a plus.
- Expertise in Agentic AI is a plus.
- Relevant certifications like CIDPRO, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are preferred.
