Responsibilities
- Create detailed test cases based on defined requirements and specifications.
- Test embedded controls applications and verify release items against requirements.
- Support controls application engineers and troubleshoot existing embedded systems.
- Work with project management and scrum masters to develop test plans, execution backlogs, and task estimates.
- Support product testing and customer witness testing.
- Prepare testing documentation, user guides, and service guides.
- Provide timely status updates and maintain quality standards in a regulated environment.
- Comply with company safety procedures and perform other assigned activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, with strong emphasis on embedded software.
- At least 1 year of experience with embedded controls or PLC firmware development and testing.
- Knowledge of PLC, Structured Text, C/C++, JavaScript, HTML, Python, and Bash Shell.
- HVAC and chiller-specific knowledge is preferred.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work onsite in Monterrey, including Apodaca and Santa Catarina locations, with some manufacturing and test lab work.
- Ability to travel internationally approximately 5% of the time.
