Responsibilities
- Partner with Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security, and Application teams to deliver cloud-native platform solutions.
- Build and support Kubernetes platforms, containerized applications, and GCP infrastructure for application modernization.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, SALT, Bash, and Python.
- Design and support deployment automation, GitHub Actions pipelines, and developer enablement platforms.
- Troubleshoot cloud, infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and production issues to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
- Drive automation and AI-enabled engineering solutions to enhance developer productivity and software delivery.
- Support cloud transformation, containerization, developer enablement, and AI platform integration initiatives across the thinkorswim ecosystem.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, and DevOps supporting large-scale enterprise applications in highly regulated environments is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, GKE, and Docker.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, SALT, Bash, and Python.
- Experience with GitHub Actions pipelines and CI/CD.
- Google Cloud professional certification is preferred.
- Exposure to AI-enabled engineering solutions, LLM integrations, MCP platforms, or software delivery automation is a plus.
- Experience working with offshore and geographically distributed engineering teams.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
