Responsibilities
- Establish company-wide technical standards and share engineering best practices.
- Deliver large cross-team and cross-domain projects and initiatives.
- Own products and services end-to-end from requirements through production deployment.
- Lead technical decisions and architectural choices for a cross-functional team.
- Code alongside engineers, mentor teammates, and shape team culture and ways of working.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available payment products and microservices.
- Help develop real-time accounting, reconciliation, and billing systems for LatAm products.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java or another general-purpose programming language and a solid understanding of clean code principles.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, highly available products and microservices.
- Strong familiarity with cloud-native environments, preferably AWS, or comparable experience with Azure or GCP.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
