Responsibilities
- Design, develop, train, evaluate, and integrate advanced computer vision and machine learning solutions.
- Create detailed designs and implement software systems, components, and algorithms for image and video analysis.
- Conduct technical experiments and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to architecture, design, code reviews, and technical tradeoff decisions.
- Translate customer and business needs into technical solutions and product requirements.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and global engineering stakeholders.
- Contribute to innovation through technical contributions, invention disclosures, and potential patent activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of related work experience.
- Experience developing and deploying computer vision or AI/ML solutions in real-world environments.
- Experience training, evaluating, and improving computer vision or machine learning models.
- Experience applying machine learning to image or video analysis.
- Experience with OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Python and/or C++; CUDA experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with medical imaging, cloud AI/ML environments, model training pipelines, MLOps workflows, large-scale datasets, regulated industries, and intellectual property development.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is a desired qualification.
