Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into technical solutions in partnership with the product team.
- Create intelligent configuration interfaces that allow AI systems to adapt to customer needs.
- Design and implement integration frameworks connecting Zuma’s AI with customer systems.
- Establish modern engineering practices and infrastructure for an AI-first product.
- Implement analytics to measure and improve AI effectiveness.
- Lead development of AI-powered features for the real estate and property management industry.
- Mentor engineers and improve the team’s capabilities with LLM technologies.
- Architect critical systems, lead system rewrites, modernize legacy code, and establish technical standards.
Requirements
- Strong people leadership experience and a bias for action.
- Hands-on experience architecting, designing, and implementing agentic AI systems at scale.
- Hands-on experience with at least one agentic framework and familiarity with other agentic frameworks.
- Experience using cutting-edge LLMs, fine-tuning LLMs, and integrating them into production software used by real users.
- Expertise in React and either Python or Node.js.
- Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and LLMs.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments and collaborating with global teams.
- Comfort working with legacy code, interacting directly with customers, and occasionally traveling to customer offices.
