Base Salary
$190k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Axion’s GCP cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Own and evolve the Kubernetes-based container orchestration platform and Terraform infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and deployment automation.
- Establish observability through logging, metrics, alerting, and tracing, and lead incident response efforts.
- Define and track SLOs and SLIs while driving reliability and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to security hardening, compliance posture, and cloud cost optimization.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation supporting production systems.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep hands-on experience with GCP, including services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Pub/Sub.
- Strong Kubernetes experience covering cluster management, networking, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Solid Terraform experience writing modular, reusable, production-grade infrastructure as code.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
- Strong background with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action.
- Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation.
- Preferred experience using agents to accelerate delivery, managing infrastructure for FedRAMP environments, or working at a venture-backed startup.
