Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, low-latency distributed systems serving DNS traffic globally.
- Build and operate secure, resilient services for hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud customer workloads.
- Develop control-plane and data-plane components, APIs, and integrations with AWS networking and security services.
- Architect solutions for containerized workloads, microservices, and cloud-native application patterns.
- Contribute to DNS Firewall capabilities, encryption, access controls, and threat mitigation.
- Operate services using automation, observability, and operational-excellence practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and conduct root cause analysis for production issues.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: experience developing software in multiple languages such as Java, Rust, or Golang.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and distributed systems development.
