Base Salary
$154k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D in general audio processing and frameworks, audio codecs, and network-related loss and jitter compensation.
- Identify and deliver scalability, performance, quality, and reliability improvements across the audio stack.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to deploy audio technologies as services and platforms.
- Support cross-functional teams and drive optimal technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in industry settings.
- At least 3 years of relevant audio software engineering experience, including audio software for video conferencing or other real-time communication applications.
- Experience with C or C++.
- Experience with audio signal processing and auditory perception using classical and machine-learned techniques is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI tools, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, GenAI, and responsible AI practices is preferred.
- Experience with audio codecs, audio capture and rendering, network compensation, and jitter buffers is preferred.
- A record of innovation demonstrated through shipped products, publications, or patents is preferred.
