Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for resilience, high-volume information processing, performance, and availability.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve high-complexity platform services used by applications across the ecosystem.
- Translate development teams’ needs into technology solutions and participate in backlog and roadmap organization, definition, and prioritization.
- Improve usability, documentation, and developer experience for platform services.
- Promote engineering, observability, and development best practices through technical training, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in Java, backend development, REST APIs, Git, relational databases, observability concepts, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices.
- Have experience working with platform services and developing high-complexity backend solutions.
- Have knowledge of cloud services and Google Cloud Platform.
- Be able to learn quickly through challenging work and adapt to new technology and GenAI.
- Be motivated to pursue challenging goals and work collaboratively in a positive environment.
