Responsibilities

  • Improve algorithms for precise drone positioning in GPS-denied environments.
  • Define data specification protocols for testing in additional zones.
  • Collaborate with the project partner.
  • Maintain project documentation and capitalize on project knowledge.

Requirements

  • Be a final-year engineering-school student seeking a six-month graduation internship.
  • Have a specialization in robotics, embedded systems, computer science, or artificial intelligence.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of feature matching, computer vision, and Python software development.
  • Understand large-scale visual positioning, autonomous GPS-denied navigation, visual odometry, and camera/IMU sensor fusion.
  • Experience with neural networks, convolutional neural networks, visual transformers, visual perception, feature matching, or embedded visual localization is preferred.
  • Be responsive, rigorous, autonomous, and service-oriented.
