Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform and backend projects from planning through implementation.
- Build and maintain shared libraries, services, and internal APIs used by product engineers.
- Improve developer workflows, including build times, CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and local development setup.
- Contribute to platform direction and improve system scale and reliability.
- Maintain infrastructure across compute, data, and deployment systems.
- Implement robust APIs, authentication, and middleware designed to operate under load.
- Harden production systems through access control, secrets management, and other cloud security practices.
- Promote code quality, testing, code review, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated history of shipping high-quality code on challenging projects.
- Significant experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend services.
- Experience with Python and/or similar programming languages.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and production security practices, including access control, secrets management, and secure networking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across the stack.
