Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and ownership of Via’s customer-facing Voice AI agent.
- Architect and ship full-stack features with a focus on robust, scalable backend services for real-time AI interactions.
- Evaluate, integrate, and deploy current LLMs and AI providers.
- Propose product initiatives, tools, and improvements that make the AI agent smarter and more intuitive.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack experience with an exceptionally strong backend engineering foundation.
- Proven experience shipping production-grade systems.
- Prior experience with Python, prompt engineering, working directly with LLM models, and building AI agents is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving technical areas and take substantial ownership.
- Strong collaboration, product initiative, communication, and mentoring capabilities.
