Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of Via’s customer-facing Voice AI agent.
- Architect and ship features across the stack with a backend focus.
- Evaluate, integrate, and deploy the latest LLMs and AI providers.
- Proactively propose product initiatives and suggest new tools.
- Mentor and elevate fellow engineers in software engineering and AI paradigms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack experience with a strong backend foundation.
- Experience with Python, prompt engineering, and building AI agents is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and eagerness to learn about AI agents.
- Collaborative mindset with a high sense of ownership.
- Leadership skills to foster a culture of continuous learning.
