Responsibilities
- Engineer, deploy, maintain, support, and continuously improve enterprise cybersecurity platforms across enterprise and vendor-hosted environments.
- Own the operational health, availability, lifecycle management, roadmap planning, risk management, upgrades, and documentation for assigned cybersecurity platforms.
- Design and maintain infrastructure supporting cybersecurity applications and services, including endpoint security agent deployment and monitoring.
- Develop automation, integrations, workflows, dashboards, reporting, and operational processes using scripting, APIs, workflow orchestration, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective improvements, and support incident response, service restoration, and post-incident analysis.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application engineering, business stakeholders, and vendors on issues, upgrades, reliability, and service delivery.
- Support change management, release planning, deployment governance, operational readiness reviews, maintenance activities, and technical documentation.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations for critical cybersecurity platforms and services.
- Provide mentoring, knowledge sharing, technical leadership, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, infrastructure platforms, or cybersecurity technologies in large-scale production environments.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Linux and Windows server environments, including system administration, security hardening, authentication services, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity technologies such as endpoint protection, threat detection, vulnerability management, security orchestration, data protection, phishing defense, or API security.
- Experience deploying, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting highly available enterprise applications or services with resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
- Experience supporting platforms serving thousands of endpoints, users, or systems.
- Experience developing automation using scripting, APIs, workflow orchestration, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, dashboarding, observability, operational reporting, and platform health reporting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving operating systems, application services, networking, authentication technologies, integrations, and distributed application architectures.
- Experience supporting containerized applications, application integrations, vendor-hosted services, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and documentation tools.
- Experience in ITIL-based operational, incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Experience supporting production applications or infrastructure in 24x7 environments, including on-call rotations and critical incident response.
- Strong written, verbal, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Preferred qualifications include endpoint security, threat detection, data protection, security operations, security automation, application security, large-scale endpoint deployments, security platform integrations, vendor coordination, operational metrics, AI-assisted workflows, regulated environments, release management, deployment governance, and relevant security, infrastructure, operating system, automation, or platform engineering certifications.
