Base Salary
$46k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide information for hardware, software, cloud service provider, implementation, and application and data migration decisions.
- Evaluate cloud and virtualization technologies and perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, architecture, design, validation, verification, and integration.
- Translate product requirements into complete systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to develop hardware and software specifications.
- Gather system requirements with application architects and owners.
- Generate scripts and templates for automated provisioning of resources.
- Discover, install, and execute standard cloud service offerings and related processes.
- Build software for organizational systems and debug technical issues involving virtualization, containers, and microservices.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related area.
- Knowledge of cloud strategy and program architecture.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Previous Systems Engineering internship experience is desired.
- A 3.0 GPA is preferred but not required.
