Base Salary
$195k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own outcomes by building AI features that improve internal workflows and customer-facing healthcare automation.
- Identify and drive AI/ML opportunities and define the technical AI strategy.
- Translate prototypes into scalable, deployable AI/ML systems across the customer base.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to automate claims and revenue cycle workflows.
- Drive the AI roadmap and influence the broader product roadmap.
- Architect AI infrastructure and structure data to support AI development.
- Establish scalable processes for model training, testing, and monitoring while meeting security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a similar field.
- 8+ years of experience building software of significant scale and complexity.
- 5+ years of professional AI engineering experience, preferably applying AI to real-world solutions.
- Experience building systems that leverage ML technologies, including specific NLP models.
- Ability to evaluate tradeoffs among AI solutions and choose between deterministic ML and non-deterministic LLM approaches.
- Strong architecture and systems-design judgment for building scalable, enduring solutions.
- Customer-first, learning-oriented mindset with a willingness to teach others.
- Ability to make sound project-scope and prioritization tradeoffs.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Metabase, Terraform, or Python is preferred but not required.
