Responsibilities
- Engage customers and SAP stakeholders to define goals, challenges, and an SAP AI architecture vision.
- Design and deliver scalable, reliable end-to-end SAP AI solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and blueprint sessions and communicate complex topics to business and technical audiences.
- Define success criteria and ensure solution performance, quality, adoption, responsible AI, and data privacy.
- Identify and prioritize SAP-native AI use cases across S/4HANA, BDC, Analytics Cloud, and BTP.
- Advise on SAP AI innovations and future-proof architectures, including legacy migrations.
- Define and govern SAP AI architecture standards, patterns, frameworks, and best practices.
- Drive the unit’s SAP AI strategy and roadmap, including capability gaps, hiring, training, and tooling investments.
- Lead pre-sales and solutioning activities, including proposals and proofs of concept on SAP BTP and AI Core.
- Mentor and coach architects and contribute to SAP thought leadership and innovation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in a senior architect leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Fiori UI, CAP Framework, SAP BTP, SAP architecture principles, and cloud transformation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Build, Process Automation, Build Apps, Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and Data Intelligence.
- Experience designing SAP and non-SAP integration architectures and knowledge of SAP data models and enterprise data architecture.
- Strong knowledge of agentic AI frameworks including LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI, plus SAP Data Intelligence and Datasphere.
- Experience designing generative AI solutions using Generative AI Hub, RAG patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration.
- Strong understanding of SAP AI Foundation, AI Core, multi-model serving, HANA Cloud vector engine, and Document Information Extraction.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP HANA Cloud AI/ML capabilities, predictive analytics, vector search, and SAP Analytics Cloud integration.
- Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management and data orchestration using SAP Data Intelligence Cloud.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, executive presence, business acumen, analytical problem-solving, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
- Solid project and program management experience, including Agile, SAFe, SAP Activate, Jira, Confluence, and SAP ALM.
- Professional fluency in German and English.
- SAP thought leadership through community contributions, publications, or conference speaking is a strong plus.
