Base Salary
$94k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, validate, integrate, and commercialize real-time embedded and edge software for sensor systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance software architectures aligned with product and technical requirements.
- Implement large features, unit tests, debugging fixes, and integration work to meet project specifications and schedules.
- Analyze software systems, identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test, and other engineering teams on system-level software solutions.
- Model and analyze software systems and write technical project documentation.
- Work independently, lead others, and manage complex projects affecting areas beyond the immediate team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Embedded software development experience using C/C++.
- Experience with embedded real-time operating systems and at least one of Linux, Android, or Windows.
- Experience with embedded software debugging tools.
- Strong understanding of software design and development processes, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Programming experience with Java, Python, or similar languages is preferred.
- Familiarity with sensor technology is preferred.
- Understanding of digital signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is preferred.
- Candidates with 0–7 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
