Base Salary
$94k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
- Design and maintain scalable, performant, and maintainable software architectures for real-time embedded Sensors software.
- Code large features, perform unit testing, debug significant issues, and complete software integration efforts.
- Analyze requirements and select appropriate technologies and design frameworks based on performance, scalability, and security needs.
- Model and analyze software systems, identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and provide technical guidance to accomplish project objectives.
- Write technical documentation for software projects.
- Work independently, lead others on the team, and manage complex projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Candidates with 0–7 years of experience are encouraged to apply; Engineer and Senior Engineer levels are under consideration.
- Preferred embedded software development experience in C/C++.
- Preferred experience with embedded real-time operating systems, Linux, Android, or Windows.
- Preferred experience with embedded software debugging tools.
- Strong understanding of software design and development processes.
- Programming experience with Java, Python, or similar languages is preferred.
- Familiarity with sensor technology is a plus.
- Understanding of digital signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is preferred.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
