Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack web applications.
  • Develop internal digital solutions that automate processes and support Bosch’s long-term digitalization strategy, including agentic AI use cases.
  • Make architectural decisions across Java/Spring Boot backends and React or Angular frontends.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and help define development standards.
  • Deploy and operate applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments on cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Adopt and integrate AI-enhanced coding and automation tools to improve productivity and innovation.
  • Optionally contribute UX knowledge to create intuitive and efficient interfaces.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economical Informatics, Information Technology, or Programming Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in web application development.
  • Experience with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of Angular with TypeScript and/or React.
  • Knowledge of SQL and SQL extensions such as PL/SQL or T-SQL; MongoDB experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Intermediate English; German is advantageous.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, logical and systems thinking, teamwork, communication, motivation, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Experience operating developed code in production is a strong plus.
