Senior Fullstack (Java) Developer
Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack web applications.
- Develop internal digital solutions that automate processes and support Bosch’s long-term digitalization strategy, including agentic AI use cases.
- Make architectural decisions across Java/Spring Boot backends and React or Angular frontends.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and help define development standards.
- Deploy and operate applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments on cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Adopt and integrate AI-enhanced coding and automation tools to improve productivity and innovation.
- Optionally contribute UX knowledge to create intuitive and efficient interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economical Informatics, Information Technology, or Programming Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in web application development.
- Experience with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Knowledge of Angular with TypeScript and/or React.
- Knowledge of SQL and SQL extensions such as PL/SQL or T-SQL; MongoDB experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Intermediate English; German is advantageous.
- Experience with agile methodologies, logical and systems thinking, teamwork, communication, motivation, flexibility, and initiative.
- Experience operating developed code in production is a strong plus.
