Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver robust, secure, and high-quality cloud-based solutions.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and domain-driven design.
- Build and maintain scalable data platforms in Azure.
- Implement DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write automated tests and maintain code quality using testing frameworks such as pytest and mocking.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and IT stakeholders on technical strategy and business objectives.
- Support and mentor team members and promote ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design, with Python preferred.
- Proven experience with cloud services and SDKs; Azure is preferred.
- Experience with Terraform and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of software development cycles, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with layered testing and the testing pyramid.
- Experience with Unity Catalog and pytest is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical problem-solving, ownership, accountability, and mentoring abilities.
