Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces and application features for Android.
- Gradually take ownership of parts of the app and grow responsibility across the full development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Experiment with Android technologies and best practices with support from experienced team members.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with a focus on quality and security.
- Continuously improve technical skills and stay current with developments in the Android ecosystem.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree or comparable qualification in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.
- Hands-on Android development experience, including initial professional experience such as internships or working-student roles, along with academic or personal projects.
- Basic familiarity with Kotlin, Coroutines, RxJava, Compose, Dagger, or GraphQL APIs, with motivation to deepen this knowledge.
- Strong analytical thinking and willingness to understand technical and product-related challenges.
- Interest in building strong user experiences and learning to implement custom UI components.
- Good communication skills and openness to asking questions, giving feedback, and learning from others.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
- Ability and motivation to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
- Curiosity about technologies and platforms beyond Android.
- Fintech experience is not required; interest in investing or digital finance is a plus.
