Base Salary
$405k - $485k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and build complex security systems end to end.
- Identify systematic risks through threat modeling and risk assessment.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring within the security team.
- Enable other teams to build their own security solutions.
- Build and advance the developer security program.
- Harden CI/CD pipelines against supply chain attacks.
- Architect systems that protect sensitive assets.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls.
- Build critical security foundations including cryptographic frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience with deep security expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python or a systems language like Go, Rust, or C/C++.
- Deep understanding of identity systems, cryptographic primitives, and secrets management.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes security primitives.
- Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives.
- Outstanding communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- A track record of resolving ambiguous technical problems.
- Low ego and high empathy with a history of supporting diverse teams.
- Passion for AI safety and security engineering.
