Responsibilities

Drive engineering excellence, developer productivity, and adoption of AI-powered development practices across application teams.
Define and implement an AI-driven Software Development Lifecycle strategy across the organization.
Create AI instructions and AI agents and guide teams in using AI platforms throughout the software development lifecycle.
Measure, track, and present AI adoption, outcomes, and business value at the organizational level.
Lead tool rationalization, process optimization, and application rationalization to improve engineering efficiency.
Collaborate with Development, Architecture, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and IT teams on technology solutions and best practices.
Support application and technology platform updates, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, security, and compliance.
Respond to requests, inquiries, and escalations from customers, help desk teams, and business partners.
Guide technical teams and mentor stakeholders while communicating strategy and outcomes.

12+ years of overall software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with artificial intelligence is mandatory.
At least two years of hands-on development using AI platforms such as Factory.ai and GitHub Copilot from an overall software development lifecycle perspective.
At least two years of experience leading development teams that leverage AI-powered tools and practices.
Understanding of AI models, including LLMs, SLMs, and foundation models.
Experience with prompt engineering, AI instructions, and AI agent creation.
Experience defining and implementing organization-wide AI-driven software development lifecycle strategies.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with software development lifecycle practices, application development, modern development frameworks, and testing.
Knowledge of application security and compliance implementation.
Experience guiding technical teams and collaborating with architecture teams.
Strong analytical, decision-making, mentoring, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred experience in a Center of Excellence, Internal Developer Platforms, QA automation frameworks, and functional and non-functional testing tools.
Preferred hands-on experience with QA automation tools such as Playwright.
