Responsibilities
- Review development activities and execute unit and system testing.
- Create deployment and development unit/system test plans and apply QA testing plans.
- Resolve complex software issues across multiple applications and platforms.
- Provide technical consulting for implementing the Accenture Life Insurance Platform within company infrastructure.
- Assist integration teams with Annuity Admin System data mapping and downstream data validation.
- Advise senior IT management and project managers on ALIP application matters and high-level planning.
- Define technical needs for large project efforts and ensure ALIP knowledge is available across teams.
- Assist with internal policies and procedures covering standards, controls, and metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five years of related experience in the annuity and retirement insurance industry.
- Five years of experience with ALIP product and business configuration, configuration tools and designs, data modeling, Integration Workbench, APIs, Java, JSON, XSLT, XSD, XML, PostgreSQL, ActiveMQ, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git or TortoiseGit, REST services, Postman, Control-M, Prometheus or Grafana, Jenkins, Elastic or ELK, and translating business requirements into technical specifications or solutions.
- At least two years of experience designing ALIP flows, using Python, and deploying to production and non-production regions.
- At least one year of experience with AWS configuration, including client-server and secret configuration, and data mapping between ALIP and downstream systems including EDM and Conforming Mart.
