Responsibilities
- Develop and implement animation code for the proprietary in-house engine.
- Maintain and enhance animation runtime systems and content-creation tools.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop tools and animation features.
- Write and test complex C++ classes and functionality for project animation systems.
- Design and implement finite state machines and related animation control systems.
- Debug complex issues in familiar and unfamiliar code using IDEs, debugging tools, and profiling techniques.
- Create, review, and update technical and user documentation.
- Support programmers and team members from other disciplines.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the architecture and internal workings of real-time animation systems.
- High proficiency in C++ and experience developing and maintaining complex systems.
- Confidence using IDEs, debugging tools, and profiling techniques.
- Experience designing and implementing finite state machines and related animation control systems.
- Good working knowledge of 3D mathematics and geometry.
