Responsibilities
- Design and implement data science and AI solutions by translating requirements into working technical components.
- Apply machine learning and data science techniques to analyse data and solve business problems.
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production environments.
- Contribute to scalable and maintainable MLOps pipelines.
- Develop end-to-end observability and monitoring for AI solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, data scientists, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Apply responsible AI principles and support AI governance and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and C#.
- SQL or R is a plus.
- Experience with cloud AI services such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, and GCP Vertex AI.
- Hands-on experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, k-means, anomaly detection, and time-series forecasting.
- Understanding of model evaluation and explainability concepts, including overfitting, bias, and cross-validation.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring for AI systems.
- Experience working with large, complex, or messy datasets.
- Understanding of public-sector challenges, data, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
