Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex AI-enabled product features with minimal guidance across UI, APIs, services, and data pipelines.
- Own the full lifecycle of digital banking products from initial concept and architectural design through release and maintenance.
- Design and improve system architecture and integrations across APIs and services.
- Build performant, secure, scalable, and resilient frontend and backend systems.
- Contribute to LLM-based voice assistants and real-time personalization engines using OpenAI and ML models.
- Implement entitlements and fraud-prevention services.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct critical code reviews, and improve engineering standards.
- Identify tooling gaps, reduce technical debt, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and UX designers in a pod-based model.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and Maven.
- Experience with microservices and cloud technologies; Netflix OSS is a plus.
- Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems.
- Experience with Webpack and Jenkins; Vue.js experience is a plus.
- Ability to design systems using Enterprise Integration Patterns and manage complex data flows between services.
- Excellent spoken and written English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and gain architectural buy-in.
- Fintech or banking experience is highly advantageous.
