Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-wide Okta-based IAM solutions integrated with Cloud IAM Identity Center.
- Secure and manage service accounts, API keys, secrets, certificates, and workload identities across enterprise and AWS/GCP environments.
- Migrate legacy code and scripts to Okta-based workflows and connectors.
- Develop Okta Workflows automating joiner, mover, and leaver processes for corporate users and cloud-native system accounts.
- Detect IAM and Directory Services threats, support security incident response, and mitigate security events.
- Manage accounts, permissions, access controls, application integrations, and least-privilege enforcement.
- Identify, report, and remediate gaps in critical security processes while maintaining awareness of IAM tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of IAM concepts, architecture, SSO, identity federation, Privileged Access Management, and machine/non-human identity management.
- Deep Okta expertise with proven ability to build and deploy Okta Workflows.
- Practical experience securing identities in AWS or Google Cloud Platform, including IAM roles, service accounts, cross-account access, and secrets management.
- Strong understanding of SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, and Role-Based Access Control.
- Proficiency with NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, REST APIs, and SQL for development, scripting, automation, and integration.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience with threat detection, security-incident monitoring, and risk mitigation.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with identity and access management projects, specifically involving non-human identities.
