Base Salary
$107k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services such as Firebase with backend developers.
- Collaborate with third-party development teams on features and releases.
- Develop, maintain, and extend cloud server applications and infrastructure.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, follow coding standards, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency developing Android applications with Kotlin and experience using Flutter for cross-platform development.
- Basic knowledge of UI design, reactive UI patterns, ProtoBufs, MQTT, WebSockets, and restricted-bandwidth data protocols.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, Linux system services, and databases such as SQLite.
- Experience using Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS IoT Core and Lambda experience; C# and Python proficiency; familiarity with Ethernet, WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, GTest Framework, XCode, and TestFlight; and experience collaborating across software, hardware, test, and manufacturing teams.
