Responsibilities
- Develop new applications and maintain existing application source code.
- Build complex application solutions for customers in a Scrum team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and participate in internal evaluation processes.
- Analyze customer requirements, consult with customers and project stakeholders, and propose application and framework designs.
- Estimate development, testing, and bug-fixing effort and report timelines for customer budget planning.
- Implement customer requirements in an object-oriented programming language into functional applications.
- Test programmed functionality before deployment and ensure code quality.
- Implement application security concepts according to PSA policy and DTAG standards.
- Provide technology-focused product responsibility and negotiate technology stacks with product owners and project managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology.
- At least five years of experience developing complex solutions.
- Experience with application programming in object-oriented programming languages and agile software development.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot skills.
- Advanced programming, hardware/software overview, and general IT knowledge.
- Good communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- English proficiency at least at B2 level; German is an advantage.
- Preferred experience with Angular, React, testing tools or frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, databases, and Grafana.
