Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the software development and deployment pipeline.
- Design, build, and maintain automation for cloud-based product deployments.
- Support application infrastructure to ensure the OneTrust platform is optimized for performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain supporting infrastructure for cloud environments using an infrastructure-as-code methodology.
- Perform and automate system administration services including installation, configuration, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
- Identify emergent issues indicating scalability and reliability problems.
- Manage incident response protocols and provide hands-on direction during service interruptions.
- Build automation, auditing, and tooling for security, compliance, and resource usage.
- Mentor other engineers to deliver and maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or business field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Docker, Chef, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and web services design, implementation, and operations.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or similar.
- Working knowledge of coding and scripting in Java, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, or Kanban.
- Ability to work with open-source technologies and cloud platforms including Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Knowledge of distributed log/event collection and event-based automation.
