Base Salary
$106k - $132k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 on-call application support on a rotational basis.
- Record all incident-related information in real time.
- Maintain highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
- Participate in weekly activities and change windows for deployment.
- Monitor systems and provide technical support for application issues.
- Engage during incidents and assist in root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support for non-incident related issues.
- Generate ideas for new initiatives to improve observability.
- Perform trend analysis of application logs and system performance data.
- Mentor other engineers and support the technical culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with log aggregation tools, preferably DataDog.
- Experience writing Oracle SQL queries.
- 5+ years of AWS Cloud experience.
- Strong Unix/Linux background.
- Ability to write scripts in shell or Python.
- Experience with Gitlab deployment pipelines and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience with Argo, Kubernetes, or Docker is a plus.
- Curiosity to learn new applications and technologies.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
