Base Salary
$115k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead production stability efforts by preventing production issues and improving application stability and availability.
- Drive change, incident, problem, and project release management processes.
- Coordinate onsite and offshore teams supporting applications and continuous improvement efforts.
- Analyze root causes, raise support tickets, and assist with efficient resolution of production issues.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff while fostering teamwork and communication.
- Support systems projects through planning, status reporting, specifications, and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, change-control procedures, and data-security standards.
- Provide on-call, after-hours, and weekend support for high- and critical-severity production issues.
- Consult with business partners and translate business needs and technical issues across teams.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of application development or production support experience using modern technical frameworks and architectures.
- Prior experience supporting business applications built with Java and database technologies.
- Experience collaborating with external technology teams and diverse global groups.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, project methodologies, Agile/XP environments, and the Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with some of Java, J2EE, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, RESTful interfaces, Git, Gradle, Maven, NPM, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML4, React.js, Node.js/JavaScript, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, multitasking, problem-solving, and technical explanation skills.
