Responsibilities
- Build robust, production-quality software and serve as a foundational engineering contributor.
- Partner with technical leads, product managers, and technical program managers to execute team goals and support Google’s AI strategy.
- Monitor the evolving agentic threat landscape and AI environment while engineering solutions to emerging problems.
- Collaborate with Software Supply Chain Integrity partners and engineering stakeholders to integrate security solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience building software for data privacy or security, including identity and access management.
- Preferred: experience with developer ecosystems, package managers, and build systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of software supply chain security, vulnerability management, or related fields.
- Preferred: active open-source development participation or experience with projects having significant open-source dependencies.
- Preferred: interest in designing intuitive developer experiences and workflows.
