Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend microservices and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and optimize relational data models and queries using Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, including high availability and multi-AZ failover.
- Implement scalable NoSQL data stores with Amazon DynamoDB, including indexing, optimized access patterns, and point-in-time recovery.
- Build serverless workflows, event-driven architectures, and API endpoints using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Develop data integration pipelines connecting cloud applications with enterprise data lakes and external systems.
- Create and maintain secure, repeatable cloud environments using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with frontend teams using React.js to support API integration and performance.
- Maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Monitor performance, manage logging, and configure alerts using AWS CloudWatch and security tools.
- Handle daily operational incidents and problems, application integration requests, and change activities.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience on the AWS Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Amazon ECS Fargate.
- Experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, and federated authentication using OAuth2 and OIDC.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform with Git.
- Strong backend development skills using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
- React.js skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of the aerospace domain is desirable.
