Responsibilities

  • Implement FX trading systems and deliver technical solutions with FX Trading Technology teams.
  • Design and develop system architecture while working with end users to enhance deliverable quality.
  • Build new systems, replace legacy systems, and renovate existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues and contribute to departmental best practices and processes.
  • Work directly with trading and quantitative teams and communicate effectively across teams and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Citi policies and procedures and maintain current, comprehensive desktop procedures and supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven understanding of FX is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of ultra-low-latency development practices.
  • Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems.
  • Systems knowledge spanning software, hardware, and networks, including the ability to define solutions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong hands-on engineering capability, including the ability to deeply analyze products and codebases and provide detailed, constructive feedback.
  • Exceptional communication skills and confidence communicating from individual teams to the broader enterprise.
  • Awareness of industry trends and the ability to leverage new technologies appropriately.
