Responsibilities

  • Maintain and further develop the sQUlearn quantum-machine-learning package and QC-Executor interface.
  • Work on quantum backend simulators and hardware plug-ins for QC-Executor.
  • Develop new features, refactor code, debug software, and create issues and pull requests.
  • Integrate QC-Executor into sQUlearn and potentially other quantum-computing frameworks.
  • Optimize code for quantum circuits, parameters, and operators used in quantum-machine-learning applications.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a German university or higher-education institution.
  • Good programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Interest in software development.
  • Knowledge of quantum computing and quantum machine learning is desirable but not required.
  • Open-source project experience is optional but preferred.
