Responsibilities
- Maintain and further develop the sQUlearn quantum-machine-learning package and QC-Executor interface.
- Work on quantum backend simulators and hardware plug-ins for QC-Executor.
- Develop new features, refactor code, debug software, and create issues and pull requests.
- Integrate QC-Executor into sQUlearn and potentially other quantum-computing frameworks.
- Optimize code for quantum circuits, parameters, and operators used in quantum-machine-learning applications.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a German university or higher-education institution.
- Good programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Interest in software development.
- Knowledge of quantum computing and quantum machine learning is desirable but not required.
- Open-source project experience is optional but preferred.
