Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue infrastructure improvements in performance, cost efficiency, and governance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to more junior engineers.
- Represent the team in technical forums and communicate, document, negotiate, and align with stakeholders.
- Anticipate technical and product issues and make design decisions to prevent them.
- Investigate root causes and deliver innovative solutions to team-level infrastructure challenges.
- Understand system capabilities and limitations and contribute to technical improvements.
- Help define Computing product strategy in partnership with peers and Product Managers.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
- Experience with access management, including AWS IAM and role management.
- Experience with Karpenter, KEDA, and HPA scaling tools.
- Experience with the Golang programming language.
- Ability and interest in sharing knowledge and mentoring engineers.
- Creativity and analytical thinking for improving the Computing Platform.
- Advanced English proficiency for daily documentation, conversations, and meetings.
